Our double-core heating mat FMD is applied as a supplementary system for comfortable floor heating. The aluminum foil ensures a homogenous heat output. Therefore the mat can be used under laminate and parquet. It is applicable for all types of premises and can be easily installed both on a new surface or on the existing floor in case of repair works, especially when it is highly important to keep a low thickness of the floor construction.

The double-core heating mat FMD is made of a double-core cable, attached to the aluminum foil. The heating mat is provided with a cold lead, a reliable coupling, for the electrical connection of the system, and an end termination. The double-core design of the heating cable enables to provide electric power supply from one end of the mat. Opposed to the single-core cable you do not need to reroute a second cold lead to the power supply which makes the process of installation easier and faster. The cables are fixed on the mesh with constant wire distances. Thanks to the cable fixation on the mesh there is no need to adjust the wire distances to fix the cable on the floor surface, which can by chance lead to the damage of the wire during the process of installation.
